“A wooden house with a turret stands among the trees on one of the streets of Minsk Mazowiecki. It is a relic of the beautiful wooden architecture that was once common in this city. Small but elegant houses with wooden shutters and beautiful verandas stood on every street in Minsk. They were supplanted by modern multifamily buildings. The change in the way of building encroached on Minsk slowly but inexorably. There are still a few houses left that are tangible evidence of historic buildings. The little house with a turret, is so distinctive that all Minsk residents probably recognize it. It is painted yellow - a color often used on the facades of wooden buildings in this region. It is decorated with a beautiful wooden terrace. It could become a symbol of this city. I gave vent to my imagination and on my art quilt I restored it a bit. I encourage you to see this magical place in person, while it is still possible, and to find the changes I made.”
