“Beksiński”

Ten art quilt powstał na podstawie zdjęcia obrazu Zdzisława Beksińskiego (fot. Muzeum Historyczne w Sanoku). Ma wymiary 50 x 70 cm. Przy jego tworzeniu wykorzystałam technikę aplikacji z surowym brzegiem, pikowania/haftowania z wolnej ręki oraz barwienie tuszami do tkanin. Quilt jest niewielki ale wymagał bardzo dużo mozolnej pracy.

This art quilt was based on a photo of Zdzisław Beksiński's painting (on the basis of the photo of the painting - courtesy of the Historical Museum in Sanok).

It's dimensions are 50 x 70 cm. I created it using the technique of application with a raw edge, free motion quilting/embroidery, as well as dyeing with fabric inks.

Maybe the quilt is small but it required a lot of arduous work.
