Technique: applique with raw edge, free-hand quilting and embroidery, acrylic paints, alcohol paints; cotton, polyester filling, polyester threads

Work sewn based on a painting by Sergiu Ciochină. Sergiu paints his paintings in Paris. So I assume this is some sort of Parisian townhouse shaded by a French tree. I was captivated by the color palette this painter uses, the composition and the apparent simplicity of this painting. I couldn't resist the temptation to make this paraphrase using fabric and thread instead of paint.
